If you get caught, you'll lose anything you swiped while in the house. You only need one, after which you should leave while your ahead. These are the Ephemeral Linen that the loony wants you to find. If you are found by anyone in the house, you'll black out and wake up in the Safe House the following morning.Īs you move into the house, keep an eye out for any piles of camo-looking linen. This will start the Mystery House encounter, and though they are separate, they do share some rules - namely: Don't get spotted. You can recognize it by the large locked gate - next to which is a sign that has a picture of the moon and a Joy Pill.įollow the sign, and when night time arrives - pop a Joy Pill like the one Johnny gave you, and the gates will open, letting you sneak into the house. It's a large multi-story building sitting off by itself somewhere in Lud's Holm across the water from the Garden District. And in this house, you must swipe some Ephemeral Linen.Īs it turns out, the house isn't quite invisible. This next task is a bit of an odd one, you need to find an invisible house that can only be seen when you're really happy. Once you have the first aid kit in hand, return to the hideout and give the kit to Johnny so he can fix his special agent.įind an Ephemeral Linen in the Mystery House First Aid Kits can be quite easily crafted with 2 Bandages, and 2 Healing Balms - which only take cloth and gilead petals. ![]() Mystery House/ Johnny Bolten, Special Agent After entering the house and beeing spotted i cant get the ephemeral linen anymore cause they spot me right after entering the house again even if they are not looking at me. For this task you'll need to either craft or find a First Aid Kit. Its a terrible life After loading the game mary gets up and starts walking around meaning that i cant finish the quest. Upsets people if they spot you sneaking, though - including Wastrels and Wellies alike. I've always considered these ideas, but I may be wrong.īut I'd like to know more about this Doctor, who looks more like a potential villain of this game. With Peachy rescued, it seems another doll - er - special agent, is in need of help. 1x Proper Suit 2x Sewing Kit 1x Ephemeral Linen Makes you sneakier. ![]() Verloc may be caused from Johnny hearing of him from the other Wastrels and doing researches of his own. What if Johnn is one of those paranoiacs who see conspiracy everywhere and end up being crazy (like Bart Simpson in an episode, but with the difference that he takes a medicine to be kinda smart and starts to feel "observed" and complains about conspiracy, consequently loosing his mind)? And his knowledge of Dr. Verloc was the one who caused Johnny's exilement and Johnny's insanity has probably crossed over with a potential grudge against the doctor. Verloc who is seeing them for troubles with their Joy. In the new "If you give a pig a pancake" quest, on one side of the hill is a boarded up enclave with a letter sent to the new people you encounter. Verloc is and why Johnny and the rest o the SOE have been training for this mission. Regardless, while the side quests are great for the completionists and achivement hunters, they currently don't further the narrative so the risk vs reward is unbalanced. (Can we talk about giving a wastrel a canteen of pure water and all they give you is a feather. ![]() Most of the goals get you a little bit of food or some random items. we come to this practical question : If flax be plentiful, and worn - out linen garments be scarce, why not use flax itself as a material for paper Just. They don't feel like a real threat that makes you want to go out of your way to be safe from them. ![]() Similar to the raincoat to rubber suit from the little old lady since you can just get one in the fetish club (if you go there) but also at this time it doesn't really mean much since the electrical stuff (Spankers, etc) don't do enough damage you need immediate protection. However at this point in the game, getting that suit really doesn't help or alter gameplay much. Here is an example: The treehouse guy - The goal seems to be to get ephemeral linen to get a stealthy suit thing. You get a few food items here and there but nothing that seems NECESSARY. I want to talk about the side quests in general.Īs I have mentioned elsewhere on this forum, a lot of the side quests don't offer much reward for the effort.
